As the very adult twenty-one-year-old that I am, I went to go see the new Kungfu Panda movie. The great hero of a panda, Po, said something in the movie that not only inspired me and the viewers but also made me kind of hungry….

“Sometimes it’s the greatest dishes come from the most unlikely ingredients.”

Like the Dragon Warrior, I often think about food, but putting it in a sense that can inspire many people was very smart. It can be the strangest mixes of people that can gain the greatest of benefits on the world. Sometimes we think that certain things can’t happen because of uncontrollable circumstances but then we get proven wrong. It is really crazy how often things like this actually happen.

Think about the last time you came across someone or something that looked as if it really didn’t have much potential. Trust me, it probably had more potential than you would think to give it credit for. I love times in life when things go totally the opposite direction of what we think. It can show us just how much of a curve ball life can throw our direction although it also teaches us lessons that we would never come across other than if the twist takes place.

Challenges make life super interesting but it really pushes us to see how far we can go. Challenges show how much resilience we have and how great we can be. I love testing my limits and I always seek opportunity to push others into finding their limits. It honestly just promotes growth within ourselves.

The next time you come across those situations that just seem totally unreal or out of our comprehension, take a minute to think how amazing it is when the situation presents the greatest opportunity of success. Even when it seems like all the odds are just the wrong kind of mix for your favor. Its like peanut butter and jam, some people hate it and some will marry the combo.
