First and foremost, HAPPY EASTER. I know it’s a little late, but I haven’t yet got a chance to wish all you amazing people a happy Easter. I hope you did exactly the opposite of me and ate as many easter eggs that your stomach would allow. Now that the priority message is out of the way, I wanted to let you in on a lesson I found over this easter break. It’s three rules that you should always apply to life. I’ll share the original video from where I found these rules. Let’s get into it.
Rule 1 – if you do not go after what you want, you will never have it.
Rule 2 – if you don’t ask, the answer is always no.
Rule 3 – if you do not step forward, then you will always be in the same place.
To be honest, I ABSOLUTELY agree with ALL of these rules. They are all super simple and self-explanatory. Apply these rules in life, and you will have the perfect comfort of knowing that you will get to where you need to be. I really wanted to share these rules with you because there are people who would hesitate on deciding on what their next move should be. There are people who don’t know if they are on the right path to where they want to go. Personally, I know that when you get into these kinds of situations, a guiding hand is always welcome.
As we grow up we tend to realize that life gets more and more challenging. We have to make life changing choices, like what to study or which job opportunity to accept. With all of these worries on our minds, we may feel like we are starting to get lost in the haze of worries. This happened to me with my tertiary education path, thus I say, that guiding hand is OH SO Helpful.
If we remember these three simple rules in life. We will constantly be on the path to what and where we want to be. We will know the answers to majority of the problems we face. All we need is to ask for the assistance, when necessary. Last but not least, we will always learn to keep moving forward and not getting caught around the ankle by the past, persistently keeping us back. It is a good thing to have closure in knowing that these rules might aid us into developing into the great powerful version of ourselves. A version that is not afraid to look for opportunities, search for answers and determinedly pursue forward.
If you are indeed in a spot like I once was, my advice would be to follow these three rules. Apply them to the situation you come across and don’t be afraid to get out of you comfort zone if need be. Don’t be afraid to aim for those high goals that you may be dreaming of, reach them and use all the help you need and find. Sometimes the use of a team is better than a solitary attempt at something. Never stop yourself from scoring those dreams just because of other people’s opinions of you. Their voice does not matter when you are growing within yourself. When you are pushing yourself to be the great version of YOURSELF, their opinion of YOU takes no part in creating that version of YOU.
