Another week means another blog, this one I can’t wait to write about. Look its nothing too important, but I wanted to tell you my final study decision. I know some people read the GET IT magazine that was released on my birthday. Those who did would have seen that the hard copy magazine had said that I’m going into nutrition in my studies but the online version said I’m going into the psychology field. Well to confirm this confusion, it’s the latter. I am majoring in psychology and anthropology.
The very first lesson I learned in psychology, is that many people think psychologists are mind readers, so before you all ask me to read your minds, just know that’s not true. Plus, I would not be able to ‘read’ your mind any ways… It has already been kind of intense with the amount of theory and readings that have to be done for each module I have registered for. I have a feeling that I will manage though. Psychology alone is an insane amount of work when you break down the years of studies and ratios of even being accepted into the years respectively. It’s around about six years of studying for psychology if you get straight through each year, otherwise you have to add a year or two for waiting for acceptance either for Masters or Honours. Sounds fun, right…
Anthropology though, isn’t too bad. There is a lot of essays and reading that have to be done during the course of the weeks to come. It’s not as bad as psychology sounds, but It’s still quite a bit of effort that I must put in. I like to stay busy, so its not too bad.
Well anyways, I just needed to take I step back this week and just get everyone on the same level after all the confusion that might have been caused. I don’t like people to have mixed signals when it comes to proper facts. The one thing that I do want to say though, is that this year feels a load better than last year. I don’t remember how much I let you in to about my course last year, but all you need to know is that it pretty much bored me to near death. This year however, I feel like I’m on the right path. I knew if I just kept faith that I would eventually get to this point. Who knows how great the year will turn out. I can’t wait for the challenges and adventures that lie ahead. Wish me luck you beautiful readers. May the success I wish for my adventure be with you all.
