Today’s blog is not going to be too long…

I just want to express my gratitude and happiness after all the work I have done so far. I know, you are probably sick of hearing me thanking all of you for all the support but honestly, I only do it a million times because I don’t know what to say or do to show how thankful I am to have the opportunities that I have been receiving. Ok I will stop now, I just wanted to make my adoration for you all crystal-clear.

Moving on to THE AMAZING FEED BACK.

Since my flying blind journey started, people have always given me the best feedback. However, since I started my motivational speaking brand, Mission with a Vision, I have never had a day where someone doesn’t make me feel like an actual unicorn. After doing my speeches at events and schools, people continue to reach out and get in contact with me. It is the most incredible feeling when you know how much you have actually helped someone.

After doing my motivational talks at schools and associations, I have had the privilege of hearing other people’s stories. Out of respect of privacy I’m not going to share them here on my blog unless permission is granted by the person. Not all the stories were positive though if I am being honest with you but the fact that all these people are willing to share their stories is amazing and proves their bravery. Some people are too scared to share their stories or experiences with others.  It’s been known that it takes guts to share in regard to subjects like these. The negative stigma surrounding disabilities has made it so hard for people to be honest with even just themselves. I therefore give the highest respect to those who are willing to share their stories.

But you see, its not only people that I do speeches for who get a hold of me. People from around the world, abled or disabled have found my platforms and pop in to say hi or ask questions. It amazes me how many people I have reached and how many people support me.

Since the beginning of my blind life, I have always been used to people helping or assisting me with day-to-day things. Now that I see, excuse the pun, how many people I am helping and influencing…man… I really don’t know how to describe how much it means to see the impact I am creating.  I have also realized how many people there are who went through similar experiences without the support that I was lucky enough to have received.  It shakes me to my very core to hear of those disabled people who thought they had the trust and support they required but then were unceremoniously thrown aside.

I truly hope this journey continues far into the future. I now see how many people seek help or guidance. It will give me the greatest pleasure to be the help that people are looking for and making great friends by doing the thing I love.

P.S. Seriously though, thinking and writing this all makes me feel as happy as a blind person who just regained their vision…
